Complete your gift shopping and enjoy holiday entertainment when Chattanooga Christian School hosts a Holiday Market and Variety Show on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1-2, at the school, 3614 Charger Drive.
The market is open from 5 to 7 p.m. both nights, followed by a student variety show from 7 to 9 o'clock. Admission to the market is free; a variety show ticket is $5.
The market will host local vendors, artists and food trucks on campus. Vendors will show a range of gifts including pottery, textiles, knitted accessories, small artwork, hand-printed cards, relief prints, woodworking, jewelry and even gifts for the family dog.
Indoor and outdoor activities will be offered including an outdoor stage with small ensembles as well as a petting zoo on Saturday night. The stage will host student and faculty performances leading up to the variety show at 7 o'clock.
The variety show will feature choral ensembles singing Christmas classics, instrumental performances and progressive vignettes of Charles Dickens' " A Christmas Carol." The variety show will be staged as a classic live TV Christmas show interacting with the live audience.
