Kay Dodd, who has spent the better part of the last 25 years making people laugh as a professional comedian, is returning to First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., 2645 LaFayette Road, to present The Kay Dodd Comedy Hour. The comedy show starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 3.

Back by popular demand, Dodd performed to a sold-out audience in 2016 at the FBCFO Women's Ministry luncheon. She uses her witty outlook on life to entertain women's groups, conferences and recovery groups, to emcee events, produce shows and raise funds for worthy causes.

According to First Baptist organizers, "She produces laughs that can lift spirits, open hearts and leave the audience inspired."

She previously was a stay-at-home mom before becoming a club comedian with a clean comedy act who worked with A-list headliners such as Jeff Foxworthy, Shirley Hemphill, Brian Regan and Henry Cho. She has performed on the Dove Channel and toured with Chonda Pierce. The National Livin' on Laughter Gospel Comedy Association awarded Dodd its Lifetime Achievement Award in July 2016.

Ticket are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. A 3 percent discount will be given groups of 50 or more in advance.
