Statement: "Originally from Norway, I have spent my entire adult life in the U.S. - California, Texas, Georgia, Maine, and for the past few years, back in Northwest Georgia.
I see my mission as capturing the beauty of the Chattanooga area on canvas so others may share my love and enjoyment of nature in this great part of the world. For the past two years, I have immersed myself in the Chattanooga art community, participating in local art groups and maintaining active memberships in the Chattanooga Plein Air Painters group."
Kittelsen's work has been shown at Locals Gallery in Sewanee and is currently in Reflections Gallery here in Chattanooga, with paintings also in private collections in Europe, Canada and the U.S.
