Regional heritage in contemporary folk art

The contemporary folk art of a Southern California native who has lived in East Tennessee for the past decade is on display through Sept. 30 at the McMinn County Living Heritage Museum, 522 W. Madison Ave., Athens, Tenn. The paintings and eco-sculpture in "Kaleidoscope of Creativity: The Artwork of Shawndell Natter" are inspired by the area's natural beauty and cultural heritage, said the artist.
