Clay and paint mingle with furniture and books as mediums for the works at Kehilah:Community at the Jewish Cultural Center through November 22.
Eleven members of Craft Artists of Southern Tennessee (CAST), a regional chapter of Tennessee Association of Craft Artist, (TACA) are exhibiting at the Jewish Cultural Center in an exhibition titled Kehilah: Community through Friday, Nov. 22. Each selected piece interprets Kehilah, the English transliteration of the Hebrew word for community. The works selected are represented in fiber, ceramics, wood, paper, concrete, clay, furniture, books, quilts, hangings, sculpture and more.
