Good World Goods, which offers local, sustainable and fair-trade home goods, will host a meet-the-artists open house and champagne reception from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.
The event will feature myriad original pieces ranging in size, scope and color from several award-winning and emerging local artists. Featured artists will be painter Rondell Crier and wood sculptor Tom Swearingen.
A small collection of African art also will be on display, as well as new pieces from jewelry artists, including strung semiprecious stone, wrapped wire and painted wood.
Admission is free, but those attending are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
