The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Theatre Company will conclude its run of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" this weekend. Remaining performances start at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday, April 10-11, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

The crowd-pleasing musical by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts is being staged in the Dorothy Hackett Ward Theatre inside the UTC Fine Arts Center.

Producers say this off-Broadway hit "rides the roller coaster of romance" with such familiar types as the sloppy single guy, the career-driven single woman, the new parents who have forgotten how to speak to adults, the sex-deprived married couple and the rambunctious senior couple.

"Sure, the show has some deep and poignant things to say about relationships, but it is really just a lot of fun," says director Steve Ray. "Music, dance and jokes are blended with tender scenes, but the show never drags. It just zips through the stages of romance from the first date to the golden years."

Ray says each of the eight cast members has a moment to shine. He adds: "Tim Hinck is doing an amazing job as music director, and Lindsay Fussell's choreography makes this musical sparkle."

Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 for students and seniors. They may be purchased at the Fine Arts Center box office, 752 Vine St., by phone at 423-425-4269 on online at www.tickettracks.com.
