WEEKEND CRUISES

The Southern Belle

Saturday

* What: Pancake breakfast aboard the Southern Belle at Ross's Landing Pier 2 followed by one-hour cruise.

* When: Breakfast 9:30-11 a.m. Cruise immediately afterward.

* Menu: The Easter-themed menu includes Hippity-Hoppity Eggs, Peter Cottontail Buttermilk Biscuits with Sawmill Gravy, Bunny Trail Mix along with bacon, pancakes, French toast, bagels, scones, muffins, fruit and juices.

* For kids: Kids may decorate their own sugar cookies to take along on the cruise. Photo packages with the Easter Bunny will be available.

* Tickets: $21 plus tax and gratuity per adult, $11 plus tax and gratuity per child.

Sunday

* When: Boarding begins at 12:30 p.m. for an Easter buffet and cruise down the Tennessee River from 1 to 3 p.m.

* Menu: Executive chef Charlie Patterson is preparing a buffet of smoked ham, carved roast, savory sides, salads and desserts on the Grand Chandelier Deck.

* Tickets:: $27.50 plus tax and gratuity per adult, $15.50 plus tax and gratuity for children.

BRUNCHES and BUFFETS

Broad Street Grille

* What: Southern-Style Champagne Brunch.

* When: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

* Where: The Chattanoogan, 1201 Broad St.

* Menu: Extensive buffet includes three chilled offerings, an antipasto bar, smoked-fish tasting menu, three chef's stations, breakfast bar, six hot-food entrees and 20 dessert choices.

* Tickets: $32.95 adults, $16.95 children, free for ages 6 and younger.

Back Inn Cafe

* What: Easter Brunch.

* When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

* Where: 411 E. Second St., in Bluff View Art District.

* Menu: The a la carte menu features gourmet breakfast specialties and lunch fare in addition to cafe favorites. Dine indoors or on the patio overlooking the sculpture garden and Tennessee River.

* Tickets: All items a la carte; $6 appetizers, $10-$28 entrees.

Hennen's Restaurant

* What: Easter Brunch.

* When: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

* Where: 193 Chestnut St.

* Menu: Between baked brie to start your meal to beignets for dessert, try one of 12 entrees that include eggs Benedict, French toast, shrimp and grits, pan-seared crab cakes, ham and ahi tuna. Full menu on Hennen's Facebook page.

Chattanooga Choo-Choo

* What: Easter Buffet.

* When: 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday.

* Where: Grand Dome lobby, 1400 Market St..

* Menu: The extensive menu includes a selection of antipasto, 11 appetizers and salads, a pasta station, carving station, four entrees with seven vegetables and more than a dozen desserts, including cooked-to-order Bananas Foster Flambe.

* Tickets: $24.95 plus tax and gratuity per adult; $21.95 ages 65 and up, $13.95 ages 12 and younger.
