Baskin-Robbins' location at the base of Signal Mountain Road is used to being part of birthday celebrations. This time it's the popular ice cream shop's turn.

The location opened one year ago to the enthusiasm of friends and neighbors, who are still enjoying the chance to stop for their favorite treats this summer.
"We have been very blessed with continual community support, even during the colder months," Brown says. "We find that ice cream is a great treat that is consistently enjoyed any time of the year. With the ease and convenience of our drive-thru window, our guests can stay comfy and dry no matter the weather. Of course, we also offer a heated dining area that will allow you to enjoy your tasty treat in comfort if you choose to dine in."
Baskin-Robbins routinely features special deals on scoops and cones. Every Tuesday night from 5-10 p.m., Family Night brings special pricing on scoops for kids and adults. All day on Wonderful Waffle Wednesdays, guests receive a free waffle cone with any adult double-scoop purchase.
Each month, Baskin-Robbins highlights a new flavor, with the Oreo Nutty Salted Caramel as the featured specialty for August.
"This flavor has a little bit of a lot of great tastes," Brown says. "Our guests have been asking for the return of Salty Caramel. We are very pleased to be able to say that it is back and even better than ever. We will offer this flavor by the scoop, in shakes, in sundaes and we can even offer it in cakes."
At the same time it is introducing a new flavor, Baskin-Robbins will also be bringing back a customer favorite - Blueberry Cheesecake, with sweet summer blueberries mixed with chunks of luscious New York cheesecake.

Also new this season are ice cream cupcakes, a pairing of traditional chocolate or vanilla cupcakes with any of Basin-Robbins' 40 flavors.
"We typically offer a dozen that are ready to go in our freezer case," says Brown, "but we can definitely make custom cupcakes to suit your tastes and occasion."
A Mega Cupcake is also available. It feeds eight to 10 people and can be decorated to suit any occasion.
Baskin-Robbins can cater a multitude of events. From a sundae bar for Scout troops to a mini-scoop ice cream tasting event for the next Book Club meeting or an ice cream cake for a wedding reception, baby shower, birthday or recognition event, there's never a reason to go without ice cream.
"We strive to be flexible in regards to your budget needs and the event needs," says Brown. "We do offer the ability to deliver, serve and clean up on-site as well. With the school's permission, we can definitely make arrangements to bring in ice cream or an ice cream cake for someone's birthday. We can even pre-cup ice cream so that the setup and cleanup for a sundae bar is superquick and easy. We know that a school's main function is education and focus, so we try to be less obtrusive.
