Chattanooga-area movie fans may see a few faces they recognize as "42" opens in theaters this weekend.

Hundreds of locals were used as extras last summer during filming of the Jackie Robinson biopic from writer/director Brian Helgeland. Engel Stadium appears in many of the scenes, along with Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman as Robinson and Harrison Ford as the Brooklyn Dodgers executive who signed him to Major League Baseball.

The movie opens at the Majestic 12, East Ridge 18 and Northgate 14.
