Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Barbara Bailey Hutchison, an alternative folk artist whose music may be best described as "art songs," returns Saturday, Nov. 16, to the Tennessee Valley Theatre, 184 W. Jackson Ave., in Spring City, Tenn. Hutchison has sung hundreds of commercials for national advertisers, including McDonald's, Hallmark Cards and Heinz. Her own music often speaks to issues of tolerance and human rights. Also an accomplished painter, Hutchison will exhibit some of her work Saturday and answer questions about painting following the 7:30 p.m. concert. Tickets are $10.
