Lynch concert a lesson in jazz through the ages - Feb. 17

The New York-based Jesse Lynch Trio -- featuring Jesse Lynch on keys, Joe Michaels on bass and Matt Smallcomb on drums -- will take listeners on a tour of jazz through the ages Monday in Cleveland, Tenn. The show starts at 7 p.m. in Conn Center, 1053 Church St., at Lee University. Jesse Lynch Jazz 101 is the third of four shows presented this season by Bradley Concerts Inc. Repertoire spans New Orleans classics through Lynch's own compositions. Video scenes from each era will accompany musical segments. Admission is $25 for adults, $10 for students.
