HUG A BUNNY

When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Where: Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park, 301 N. Holtzclaw Ave.

Admission: $8 adults, $5 ages 3-15 for nonmembers; free for members.

Highlights: Celebrate the arrival of spring with a family visit to see the zoo's resident bunnies. Parents, bring your cameras for photo-ops with the Easter Bunny. There will be crafts and games for kids.

SUNNY BUNNY EASTER EGG HUNT

When: 1-3 p.m. Saturday.

Where: Sir Goony's Family Fun Center, 5954 Brainerd Road.

Admission: Free.

Highlights: Kids 10 and younger are invited to bring their own Easter baskets and hunt for eggs on the grounds of the Brainerd attraction.

Amanda White, promotions director of WDEF-FM Sunny 92.3, which is co-sponsoring the event with Sir Goony's, said several thousand eggs will be hidden and there will be lots of prize giveaways. James Howard of Sunny 92.3 will be broadcasting live from the event.

White said the first 92 families to arrive will receive a coupon for a free large pizza from Papa John's.

COMMUNITY EGG HUNTS

Alexian Brothers: Alexian Brothers Senior Ministries invites children ages toddler through fifth grade to a free event Saturday at Alexian Village, 100 James Blvd. on Signal Mountain.

The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. with a jelly-bean counting contest followed by an egg hunt at 10:30 on the lawn of the historic Alexian Inn. Lemonade and cookies will be served after the hunt. Phone: 886-0537.

Etowah: The historic L&N Depot in downtown Etowah, Tenn., will be the site of a free egg hunt for ages 2-10 on Saturday. Registration begins at 10 a.m., the hunt starts at 11 a.m. Phone: 423-263-2228.

Sale Creek: The Sale Creek Lions Club invites children to bring their baskets for an egg hunt Saturday at noon. The club's annual event will be held in the field in front of H&J Heating & Air Conditioning, 14721 Dayton Pike. Phone: 332-2921.

Spring City: The fifth annual egg hunt, scheduled Saturday at Veterans Park, starts at 10 a.m. with hunts every 20 minutes for children in five age groups. An Easter Pageant for children 10 and younger follows at 2 p.m. in the Spring City United Methodist Church gymnasium, 245 Church St. $10 to participate. EASTER SERVICES IN AREA PARKS

Where: Camp Jordan, Exit 1 off I-75 in East Ridge.

When: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Hamilton Life Church invites residents to bring their lawn chairs and join them for a Easter service at 10:30 a.m. followed by an egg hunt. More than 14,000 eggs will be hidden on the grounds at Camp Jordan, plus there will be games and inflatables for children.

Oakwood Baptist Church presents Easter in the Park for a sixth year on the grounds of Chickamauga Battlefield. Dress casually and bring a lawn chair or blanket to hear live music and a message by the Rev. Darrell Henry.

Stuart Heights Baptist Church sponsors an egg hunt at 9 a.m. for children up to age 11, followed by an Easter service at 10 a.m. More than 50,000 eggs will be hidden in the North Shore park.
