Chattanooga Market hosts its annual Peach Festival on Sunday in First Tennessee Pavilion.
Five vendors will bring their fresh-picked peaches to the market to sell. General manager Paul Smith said he estimates 150 vendors of produce and crafts will be at the pavilion Sunday.
"We've asked all our vendors to highlight all things peach," he said. "There will be peach-inspired art. The salsa lady, Lannie Hart with Daylilies, will have peach jams, jellies and salsas. There will be peach cobbler by Jean's Delights."
While visitors browse the market's booths, they will be entertained by Blake Guthrie of Birmingham, Ala., whose latest CD, "Til I Reach the Light," has proven popular in Canada and Australia.
At 2 p.m., guitarist Veronika Jackson will take the stage. She created her own style of music by combining acoustic folk guitar with the stories of black culture. The result is original music with strong interpretive vocals.
