Lookouts try out a bold new shade tonight

The Chattanooga Lookouts are at home tonight and Saturday before beginning a 10-day road trip in Mobile, Ala., and Jacksonville, Fla.

Tonight, the home team will trade the traditional Dodger Blue uniforms for pink jerseys and pink bats in a campaign to increase breast health awareness.

As part of Pink Night, Lookouts fans can bid on pink jerseys worn during the game as well as an autographed pink bat. Jerseys will be autographed immediately following the game by the players and will be available for pickup by the winning bidders at that time.

Proceeds from the auction benefit the Memorial Health Care System Foundation and the MaryEllen Locher Breast Centers at Memorial. Bidding opens at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will follow the game.

Saturday, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Lookouts hat, and Breakin' BBoy McCoy, a break dancer who doubles as a bat boy, will entertain.

Both games start at 7:15 p.m. at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley.

General-admission tickets are $4, with $2 discounts for seniors and children. Box seats are $8 and $5.
