Lodge is a co-author of The New York Times best-seller "Younger Next Year: A Guide To Living Like 50 Until You're 80 and Beyond." His presentation is the first in the Living Well Luncheon series presented by Alexian Brothers Senior Ministries to convey information relevant to healthy aging.

The luncheon is scheduled 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at The Chattanoogan, 1201 Broad St. Tickets are $45.

Lodge will discuss how to enjoy a long, healthy life through key elements such as changing daily habits, eating well and staying active.

"His expertise on turning back one's biological clock and staying young, vibrant and fit at any age is particularly relevant as we prepare for the full impact of the baby-boomer generation," said Dawn Weber, foundation director for Alexian Brothers. "Dr. Lodge's rules to living longer better are simple, and his message that it's never too late to change lifelong habits is inspiring."

Alison Lebovitz, a local author, talk-show host, speaker and nonprofit executive, will serve as emcee. Proceeds from the series will support Alexian Brothers programs for the most vulnerable older adults in the communities the agency serves.
