'Lyrics of Love' focus of Black Ink

Finalists in the Black Ink poetry/spoken word contest will perform their original works Saturday afternoon in the EPB Community Room, 10 W. M.L. King Blvd. The event, scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Chattanooga Hamilton County NAACP. The theme of the day is "Lyrics of Love."

Contestants are entered in two age groups: 17 and younger, and 18 and older. All works are suitable for the general public. Cash and prizes will be awarded to the top three honorees.
