Author Chris Grabenstein visits

Chris Grabenstein, author of the popular Haunted Mystery series, will sign autographs and answer questions about his career in a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Northgate Branch of the Chattanooga Public Library.

Grabenstein has won numerous honors for his books for middle-grade readers. "The Hanging Hill" won the prestigious Agatha Award for best mystery for children or young adults. His latest book, "Riley Mack and the Other Known Troublemakers," is the first in a new adventure series for children ages 8-12.

Grabenstein spent his junior high and high school years in Chattanooga before moving to New York City to make his mark as an improvisational actor and writer for television. He also is renowned for his many contributions in commercial advertisements. Today, he spends most of his time as an author and presenter.
