Kayaking training at Brainerd Recreational CenterOutdoor Chattanooga's Rapid Learning Program provides the equipment and instruction for adults and kids ages 8 and older to learn beginning and intermediate whitewater kayaking skills.
At our weekly kayak sklls practice, participants learn the basics: paddle strokes, braces, buddy rescues, wet exits and the all important buddy roll.
Your first visit is free, then membership in the program is $50 for individuals, $75 for families. Members can access Rapid Learning equipment and instructors every week for a year. In addition, Rapid Learning hosts training trips to area whitewater streams during the summer months.
