Tickets go on sale today, Jan. 10, for the annual Father Daughter Dance presented by the Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department. The Valentine's-themed event is for girls ages 3-18 and their dads.
This year's dance is scheduled 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in Ballrooms E-J at the Chattanooga Convention Center, 1 Carter Plaza. Photos will be made starting at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30 per person. Sales are limited to 550. Light hors d'oeuvres and a dessert buffet are included in the ticket price.
There are two ways to purchase tickets.
• By phone: If you are paying by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover), call 842-6748. Tickets will be sent by email.
• In person: You may pay by cash, check or credit card at the Parks and Rec offices at Chester Frost Park, 2318 N. Gold Point Circle. Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, but those stopping by are asked to please call ahead.
