Messiah's Mansion, a life-size replica of the Old Testament tabernacle built by Moses and the Israelites, will be set up Saturday, June 8, through Sunday, June 16, in Dalton, Ga.

Visitors may tour the tabernacle at Dalton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 300 S. Tibbs Road, weekdays from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and weekends from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. The 75-minute tours are free of charge.

Messiah's Mansion is touring the U.S. and Canada this year and will be in Chattanooga Sept. 28-Oct. 6. It previously visited Chattanooga in 2008.

The structure replicates the tabernacle that God told Moses to build in the wilderness after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt.

"Everything is to scale and a copy of what it would have looked like to the children of Israel, to the best of our knowledge," according to the Harrah, Okla.-based company's website, www.messiahsmansion.com. "Through guided tours, people are able to see the plan of salvation and bring it to life with the visual aid of the sanctuary furniture."

The church has brought in the tabernacle as part of its all-ages Vacation Bible School, which runs 6:30 p.m. June 10-14. Attendance is not required to tour the tabernacle.
