LaFayette, Ga.'s annual Freedom Festival is set for Friday, June 28. Sponsored by the city of LaFayette and the LaFayette Woman's Club, the celebration will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. in LaFayette Municipal Park, 638 S. Main St.
The evening's entertainment will feature Vince Stalling at 6 p.m., Black Cat Moan at 7 p.m. and Chattanooga party band The Beaters at 9 p.m. Their set will be followed by fireworks at 10:30 p.m.
Other activities include a pie-eating contest and old-timers softball game, both starting at 7 p.m., free swimming from 7 to 9 p.m. and karaoke from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
More than 50 vendors will be present.
