Whatever happened to Citico Mound (seen in this Civil War-era photo of the ancient Mississippian burial ground)? How do you find a 6,000-year-old fire pit in North Chattanooga? Who were the Napochie? How do you make a blast furnace blast? UTC professor Dr. Nick Honerkamp, Chattanooga's answer to Indiana Jones, will explore the secrets of key archaeological sites along the Tennessee River from the Tennessee Aquarium's River Gorge Explorer from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 12. The "Secrets of the Riverbank" cruise is meant to offer a deeper perspective on the human and industrial history of the area. A cash bar with wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks will be available. Tickets are $18 and $24 for members (children and adults) and $18, $21.50 and $29.50 for nonmembers. To register, call 423-262-0695 or visit www.tnaqua.org.
