Arts Night at Friday's Lookouts game

photo Chattanooga Lookouts team members Corey Seager, Mike Thomas and Bobby Coyle Jr. enjoy the view at the Hunter Museum of American Art. Friday night, the museum will be represented at the ballpark, along with several other local arts and cultural organizations during Arts Night with the Lookouts.

Don't look for them to round the bases in tutus and pointe shoes, but ballerinas from Chattanooga Ballet and Ballet Tennessee will be at the ballpark for Friday night's Lookouts game at AT&T Field. The dancers are part of an Arts Night promotion, presented by ArtsBuild, as the Lookouts continue their home stand against the Jacksonville Suns today through Saturday, Aug. 14-16.

"This is a great opportunity for the community to be exposed to many of the wonderful arts and cultural organizations available in Chattanooga," says Dan Bowers, president of ArtsBuild (formerly Allied Arts).
