Friday night, the museum will be represented at the ballpark, along with several other local arts and cultural organizations during Arts Night with the Lookouts.Don't look for them to round the bases in tutus and pointe shoes, but ballerinas from Chattanooga Ballet and Ballet Tennessee will be at the ballpark for Friday night's Lookouts game at AT&T Field. The dancers are part of an Arts Night promotion, presented by ArtsBuild, as the Lookouts continue their home stand against the Jacksonville Suns today through Saturday, Aug. 14-16.
"This is a great opportunity for the community to be exposed to many of the wonderful arts and cultural organizations available in Chattanooga," says Dan Bowers, president of ArtsBuild (formerly Allied Arts).

YOGA IN THE OUTFIELDThe Chattanooga Lookouts and Hot Yoga Plus are partnering for the first yoga class at AT&T Field, set for 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Participants should bring a mat and water bottle. Cost is $5 in advance, $10 at the gate. A ticket to Saturday night's game is included. Discounts are available for groups of 25 or more. Before the game, from 6 to 7 p.m., a brass quartet from the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will play in the stadium's main plaza. The Chattanooga Boys Choir, directed by Vincent Oakes, will sing the national anthem. Bob Bernhardt, music director emeritus and principal pops conductor for the CSO, will throw out the first pitch.
Other organizations represented at the game will include Bessie Smith Cultural Center, Chattanooga Girls Choir, Creative Discovery Museum and the Hunter Museum of American Art.
"We'll have great giveaways throughout the game, compliments of our cultural partner organizations, activities for the kids and fun entertainment - and baseball, of course!" Bowers says.
The night will conclude with a fireworks display.
Other promotions for this series are UTC Night tonight and College Football Night on Saturday.
