HISTORY HIKE - Moccasin Bend Road (follow Special Event signs toward Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute). Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park presents free, 90-minute history hike on "The Moccasin Battery: Union Artillery on Moccasin Bend," 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. Program focuses on the Union artillery positions on Missionary Ridge, hidden from view from Confederate forces atop Lookout Mountain, in the fall of 1863.
