Area residents have a chance to see what's inside the gates of Paradise Arabians Horse Farm on Saturday, March 8.

Owners Gary and Wanda Kenworthy are sponsoring an open house from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to show off the farm's new babies and the rest of their Straight Egyptian horses.

"These are the rarest horses in the world, and they are something to see," says Wanda Kenworthy in a news release.

"As you know," she continues, "the entire town of Dalton has suffered from the recession, and I would like to offer my farm for a fun day to rejuvenate my town."

Admission is free. A food vendor will offer concessions on-site.

Visitors may want to bring their own carrots - the horses love them.

The farm's address is 721 Gowan Road in LaFayette, Ga.
