ChattaCrawl Inc., a local organization that throws "parties with a purpose," is hosting a St. Paddy's Day Pub Crawl to benefit Northside Neighborhood House.
The event will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, and feature four pubs:
¦ Flying Squirrel Bar, 55 Johnson St.
¦ Terminal Brewhouse, 6. E. 14th St.
¦ The Social, 1110 Market St.
¦ The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway.
The crawl concludes with a block party on Patten Parkway (see related story below).
Tickets are $25 and include free cover and a $5 gift certificate to each pub, free entry into the block party, a 10 percent discount to Northside Neighborhood House thrift stores and St. Paddy's Day gear, which can be picked up starting at 3 p.m. in Patten Parkway.
Those who visit each of the pubs involved will have a chance to win a "pot o' gold" in a 10 p.m. drawing.
For the past five years, ChattaCrawl also has sponsored a pub crawl at Christmas to collect toys for The Salvation Army.
"Due to the success of the Santa Claus Pub Crawl, we thought it made sense to put together a similar event for St. Paddy's Day," organizers said in a news release.

The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway, is not just a stop on the St. Paddy's Pub Crawl. It's also the host site for the St. Paddy's Party on the Parkway from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 15, and a St. Patrick's Day Proper celebration on Monday, March 17.
On Saturday, gate entry is $10 for ages 16 and older. Kids 15 and younger get in free with an adult. Proceeds go to the Chattanooga Autism Center.
Irish band The Molly Maguires and other acts will entertain.
The Molly Maguires will return Monday, along with Gasoline Heart for the St. Patrick's Day Proper celebration from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
"Live music, food, booze and carousing will be plentiful," say organizers.
Cover is $5, free if you wear a St. Paddy's Party on the Parkway shirt from Saturday's throwdown.
