If you're looking for great bargains on quality merchandise, head to Office Furniture Warehouse on Saturday, March 15, for Clean Sweep, the Junior League of Chattanooga's huge indoor yard sale.

If this Clean Sweep sale is anything like its predecessors, a long line of customers will be waiting when doors open at 7:30 a.m. The warehouse will be packed with all types of home goods, such as furniture, kitchen items, toys, electronics and baby gear. All sale merchandise has been donated by League members, their families and friends.

Suzanne Wyche, League public relations chairman, said the sale will not include linens or clothing for adults or children. Neither car seats nor cribs will be for sale in the children's section either, all for health and safety reasons.

"We have a nice, iron patio set -- a table with four chairs. There will be items of all sizes from couches and chairs to lamps and large appliances," she says. "If you are looking for large items to purchase, you should bring your own vehicle to transport them. A delivery service will not be available."

Wyche adds that shoppers should bring their own bags to carry home purchases since only a limited number will be available on-site.

Proceeds from the $5 admission will help fund the League's community-impact programs such as mini-grants for Hamilton County public school teachers, Kids in the Kitchen program to teach children better nutrition, and Seeds of Change, which is the League's effort to eliminate food deserts in Hamilton County.

Wyche says any items unsold at end of day will be donated to the Children's Home/Chambliss Shelter.
