Wide receivers Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright will be on the bus when the Tennessee Titans Caravan pulls into Academy Sports + Outdoors, 2220 Hamilton Place Blvd., on Friday, May 16.

Chattanooga is among 16 stops in Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama for the weeklong caravan, which began Monday, May 12, and will end Saturday, May 17. Other stops Friday are in Knoxville and Cookeville, Tenn.

Also coming are mascot T-Rac and the "Voice of the Titans," Mike Keith. They are scheduled to arrive at 3:30 p.m. Appearances usually last about an hour.

Posters are provided at no cost for fans to get autographs, and photos are encouraged.

The Titans Caravan began in 1998 as a small effort to spread goodwill through the region. Today, seven full-time staffers travel with Titans players and T-Rac through the mid-South on a specially decorated motor coach. Since 1998, the Caravan has made more than 800 stops and allowed the team to interact directly with an estimated audience well in excess of 150,000 fans.

The Titans have four preseason games scheduled in 2014, starting Saturday, Aug. 9, against the visiting Green Bay Packers. The first regular-season game at LP Field in Nashville will be Sunday, Sept. 14, against the Dallas Cowboys.
