Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 942 president Robert Cothran invites the community to come to a Cruise-in at Soddy-Daisy Veterans Park March 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"We want to give back to the car clubs for the support they give the veterans at the Soddy-Daisy Fourth of July and Punkin Festival," said Cothran.
He said the event is free and it is free to enter one's car, truck or motorcycle to be displayed.
Vietnam Veterans will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soft drinks. Music will be played throughout the event.
"Veterans, young people and old people can come out and have a good day," said Cothran. "We want them to come, park and show their cars, motorcycles and trucks. A cruise-in is a time to come together and meet and greet."
Soddy-Daisy Veterans Park is located on the 9000 block of Dayton Pike on the southern end of Soddy-Daisy. The flag pole and park are dedicated to war veterans.
