There's a real neat business that opened here in Ooltewah.
It's a rock store. Appalachian Stone is the name and it's located in the old Collegedale Casework facility just behind the new Publix grocery store on Mountain View Road.
Every kind of rock imaginable is in stock, ready to be delivered or thrown in the back of a pickup. I bought 16 cut stones a few weeks ago for a landscaping project and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Also, don't forget that, when traveling west on Lee Highway here in Ooltewah, you now have to use the new cloverleaf if you want to get on Interstate 75 South.
That's the last piece of the road construction puzzle. Ooltewah is open again.
