OOLTEWAH: Antique Mall has plenty of offerings

OOLTEWAH: Antique Mall has plenty of offerings

If you've watched History Channel lately, you may have come across the shows "American Pickers" or "Pawn Stars." Both shows deal with antique items and the people buying and selling.

Here in Ooltewah, we have the Ooltewah Antique Mall operated by Ooltewah's very own picker Larry Hobson. His store is located at 9316 Lee Highway, right before Lee Highway turns from four lanes into two lanes, if you're traveling east.

Mr. Hobson has a great selection of antique furniture, decorating items and "trinkets" that make for great conversation.

Ooltewah Antique Mall is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call 238-5000.

And finally, the track at Ooltewah High School is being resurfaced. Thanks to assistant principal Jim Jarvis for staying on the powers that be to get this long, overdue project completed.
