If you've ever driven down Snow Hill Road, no doubt you've seen Brooks' Dairy Farm located behind Ooltewah High School.
And chances are you've seen Phillip Brooks working that farm, either mowing, planting, harvesting or spraying. A few weeks ago, I worked late and, sure enough on my way home, there was Phillip on that tractor grinding up dirt, getting ready to plant corn. And I know he started his day way before me as well.
He is a farmer - pure and simple - hardest working man I know. He and his family keep their farm and property groomed and second to none.
And I want him to know how much I, and the entire Ooltewah community, appreciate his farm and his efforts.
It's the folks like Phillip Brooks that make Ooltewah so unique.
