The public is invited to hear Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey address future growth in the area and his role in development during the Enterprise Gateway Chamber Council meeting June 24 at 8:30 a.m. at Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive.
"We are very excited to have Mayor Ramsey speak to us about developments for the Bonny Oaks area, which, of course, includes the Volkswagen plant," said Council board member Kera Matthews, of FastSigns. "We'll also hear what he foresees as the hot growth businesses in Chattanooga's future."
Ramsey has been asked to prepare a talk that covers the following points: future business in Chattanooga, the Highway 58 connector, what is the future of the Bonny Oaks/Highway 58 area, how may small businesses get involved with the city, and what improvements are being made for the city's future.
"We are hoping to get a good turnout at the meeting," said Mathews.
The meeting's $6 cost covers breakfast.
