Organized in 1921, The Garden Club of Signal Mountain marked its 90th anniversary with a flower show at Marrcrest, home of Jason and Jamie Rehm. Also home to two former club presidents, Marrcrest shares a long history with the club.

Co-chaired by Barby Wilson and Phyllis Williams, the show entiltled, "And the Ladies of the Club..." was attended by members of many regional clubs in addition to the 90-plus members of the GCSM and their guests.

Also in attendance were descendants of Walter Marr, builder of Marrcrest who served as Buick's chief engineer until 1918 and consulting engineer until 1923. A display of antique automobiles, including the 1903 "Marr Car" added to the show's nostalgic feel.

The event was also the site of the unveiling of the club's new logo, which features a design by club member Jean Faircloth.
