Catoosa County's 29th annual Gala welcomes a large crowd

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce's 29th annual Gala not only showed off a "Saturday Night Fever" theme, but some of the key players in the community as well. A number of awards were handed out.

Suzan Gibson of Shaw Industries was named the Catoosa County Chairman's Award winner, and former Ringgold Mayor Joe Barger earned Citizen of the Year for 2015.

The Lifetime Achievement Robert Hitchcox Award was presented to his widow, Dianne Hitchcox.

The Hall of Fame Award went to Leonard Fant.

Erin Crane State Farm was named New Business of the Year; Uniktings!, Small Business of the Year; Penn Color, Medium Business of the Year; and Costco Wholesale, Large Business of the Year. The Family Crisis Center was named Nonprofit of the Year.
