It is the busiest time of the year for the crew at Nooga-Q Smokehouse & Grille.

Then again, it is a busy time for us all. While we frantically holiday shop, plan seasonal soirées and schedule family get-togethers, Nooga-Q is in the kitchen, doing all the cooking.

From corporate parties to school events to holiday spreads, Nooga-Q caters them all. Customers can have orders dropped off or take advantage of the full-service catering option, which includes waitstaff and cleanup.

Menus are customizable,or you may select easy options off its catering menu, featuring smoked meats such as chicken, pork, brisket, ribs and more. Catering spreads include the customer's choice of bread, side, and tea or lemonade. To view the restaurant's full catering menu, visit nooga-q.com, or stop by the restaurant and sample the selection.

Between the holiday hustle and bustle, what better time of year is there to treat yourself and your family to a no-fuss feast? Every Friday from 4 p.m. to close, Nooga-Q offers all-you-can-eat catfish fillets, hand-breaded to order. The catfish additionally comes with hushpuppies, all for $10.95.

Then, every Saturday from open to close, the restaurant offers all-you-can-eat smoked pork ribs. Slow-smoked and so tender they fall off the bone, the ribs are served with a drink for $14.95.

And you'll want to save room for Nooga-Q's home-style banana pudding - perhaps the perfect reward for pushing through the season, making those lists and checking them twice. It is, after all, the most wonderful time of the year.
