Spring in the Scenic City means different things to different people. For Nooga-Q Smokehouse & Grille it means catering, catering and more catering. Between wedding dinners and sports banquets, Nooga-Q stays busy this time of year.

While the restaurant's core specialties are wood-smoked meats and scratch-made Southern sides, its catering menu is customizable.

"We'll do corporate catering for the same company five days in a row," said Tami Smith, owner of the smokehouse. "They don't want to eat barbecue every single day."

Aside from the menu, Nooga-Q is also flexible in regards to headcount and service options for the events it caters.

"No size is too small for us," said Tami, adding that the restaurant has catered events for groups of between 10 and 3,000 people.

Moreover, customers can opt for pickup, drop-off, waitstaff and other options. And while Tami said she's prepared everything - such as spaghetti, and chicken and dumplings - not surprisingly Nooga-Q's most popular spread, she said, is its barbecue slow-smoked on-site.
