What’s an event in the South without catered barbecue?

“We’re already covered up for the holidays,” said Nooga-Q Smokehouse & Grille owner Tami Smith, in regards to the restaurant’s already full catering schedule.

So, in this regard especially, it’s never too early to start planning for the new year.

“I’m sure we’ll see lots of proposals coming this Christmas!” Tami said.

Nooga-Q offers full-service catering options. A catering menu is available online at nooga-q.com, offering bulk orders of the grill’s smoked meats, including pork, ribs and brisket. Or, custom spreads are also an option.

“We’ll do corporate catering for the same company five days in a row. They don’t want to eat barbecue every single day,” said Tami.

More than just its menu, Nooga-Q’s catering is also flexible in regards to headcount and service options.

“No size is too small for us. We’ve catered groups from 10 to 3,000,” she said.

Whether you want to feed 3,000 — or eat for 3,000 — Nooga-Q has you covered.

Every Friday from 4 p.m. to close, Nooga-Q offers all-you-can-eat catfish fillets. Then, every Saturday from open to close, it offers all-you-can-eat smoked pork ribs. Both of these endless eats are served with toast and two sides: coleslaw, baked beans, fried okra, potato salad, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, and more. The all-you-can-eat catfish additionally comes with hushpuppies, all for $10.95. The ribs are served with a drink, all for $14.95.

After all, ‘tis the season to feast, and soon, it will be time to start planning a scrumptious Southern event for the new year.
