Brewhaus Prepares for an Epic Summer

It is officially unofficial summer, and that means three things: sun, water sports and ice cold adult libations.

Brewhaus has all three.

This summer, Chattanooga’s only German-American gastropub is introducing a new cocktail menu, featuring a bevy of fresh, fruity and fun craft drinks. The Purple Panda, for example, is made with Tito’s vodka, haus-made blackberry simple syrup and fresh pineapple juice.

Throughout the month of June, Brewhaus will host weekly tap takeovers, when the bar will spotlight a different brewery’s best summer brews. On June 6, it will offer Chattanooga Brewing Company’s new summer saison. Then, on June 13, it will showcase Ballast Point’s Sculpin IPA series, including the “Aloha” and grapefruit IPA blends — and kicking of the “Summer of Sculpin.”

This summer, Ballast Point is giving the brewery’s fans a chance to win a trip to its home base of San Diego, California, to fish and brew beer.

To enter, people must follow Ballast Point on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Then, stay vigilant through Aug. 2 in commenting on any of its “call to action” posts, being sure to include the hashtag “#SculpinGiveaway.”

Indeed, summer has only unofficially begun, and it already has epic potential.
