The executive team at Luken Communications is growing, and adding names from some of the best-known broadcast and publishing brands in the country. Founded in 2005 by investor Henry Luken, the Chattanooga-based television company has amassed a vast library of old TV shows delivered across the country on its eight networks. After emerging from bankruptcy last year, Luken has also expanded its executive staff.

From The Enthusiast Network - maker of an array of cross-platform enthusiast publications - comes Doug Evans. Evans was recently named chief operating officer at Luken Communications, and is simultaneously coming into his new position as chairman of the Specialty Equipment Market Association, or SEMA. Evans brings with him years of experience and direction of enthusiast publications.

Luken Communications has also added David Dornseif to its team; Dornsief has been named senior vice president of advertising sales. He spent time at Chicago's national-footprint WGN station and, before coming to Luken, helped build the advertising sales wing from the ground up at Dish Network, the satellite TV provider than currently serves more than 13 million customers.

An old associate and former hockey teammate of Dornseif"s, Kevin Gaffney, has also joined Luken's executive team. Gaffney has worked for HBO and Turner Broadcasting Systems. Gaffney managed distribution, marketing, local advertising and contract negotiations for all of Turner's broadcasting networks.

Meanwhile Matt Winn, executive vice president at Luken, has also been promoted to chief technology officer. And David Leach heads Luken Communications as president and CEO.
