If you're interested in big, the General Electric Co. distribution facility in Cleveland, Tennessee, might be for you.

The 851,370-square-foot facility used by GE Lighting is its largest lighting distribution center in the country, according to the commercial real estate company Avison Young.

The facility serves some of the world's leading retailers, including Wal-Mart, Lowes and Target, according to the Toronto-based company.

A Chicago-based institutional investor owns the building located at 1520 Lauderdale Memorial Highway which was built to the specific needs of GE Lighting.

"This asset offers investors a rare opportunity to secure a high-quality corporate distribution facility in the growing Southeast market," says Erik Foster, who with Mike Wilson of Avison Young's National Industrial Capital Markets Group, is representing the owner.

Foster said that with 2015 revenue of $117 billion, GE is "an institutional-quality tenant that provides the stability and long-term growth potential investors want."

The distribution center ships nationally and internationally, operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Since 2007, the facility has been operated by Excel Logistics, a division of DHL.
