More than 60 acres of undeveloped land near Hamilton Place mall and the busy East Brainerd area is on the market.
The 64-acre tract is currently operated as Concord Golf, and the site would is fit for a multi-use project, according to real estate broker David W. Shipley of Re/Max Properties.
He projects the parcel, which has a $2 million sales price, could provide a location for a high-end motel with luxury apartments. Or, he says, the site could hold a senior living community with some retail shopping.
Located in the heart of East Brainerd, the property is just 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. In addition, there are hospitals and doctors offices nearby, and the Volkswagen assembly plant and Amazon distribution center are just a few Interstate-75 exits north of the tract.
The land has what the broker calls "excellent" visibility, with East Brainerd Road and I-75 each nearby. In fact, the interstate abuts to the property, according to the broker. Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is located not far away off Highway 153.
The property is located in a flood plain, Re/Max Properties says.
