The program will include Buck's Festival Overture on the American National Air ("The Star-Spangled Banner"), Lowden's "Armed Forces Salute," Gould's "American Salute," Hayman's "Sing Out America," Sousa's "The Washington Post" and Wilhowsky's "Battle Hymn of the Republic."

Festival of Flags, brass concert in Ringgold
As part of its annual Fall Festival of Flags, the city of Ringgold, Ga., and the Ringgold Downtown Development Authority will host a Veterans Day Celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Ringgold Depot, corner of Depot Street and U.S. 41.
The free event will feature a patriotic performance by the Jericho Brass, a 28-piece traditional British-style brass band. Frank Hale will direct.
Ringgold's Festival of Flags is displayed twice a year to honor the deceased veterans of Catoosa County. Each flag represents a deceased county resident who served in the military.
The local Veteran of Foreign Wars post started the flag tradition more than 30 years ago. The project is now stewarded by Ringgold through the help of volunteers from around the county.

'Home for Christmas' theme of CLEVELAND CONCERT
The Greater Cleveland Community Band, under the direction of Don Bindrim, will present its Christmas concert, "Home for Christmas: A Veteran's Story," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at First Baptist Church, 1275 Stuart Road, NE, in Cleveland, Tenn.
This inspirational history tells of the American soldier missing family members during the holidays during the fights for freedom.
Musical selections cover the Revolutionary War to present day. Dr. Jim Burns will narrate the story, with letters from home during the wars.
Vocal Rhapsody from Cleveland State Community College will sing a special salute to the armed forces. Veterans will be asked to stand and be recognized as each fight song is sung.
Admission to the concert is free, though donations are appreciated. The all-volunteer band has been selected to represent Tennessee at Gettysburg in June 2013 for the observance of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
