* What: The catfish plate is one of the biggest-selling items on the menu. Two whole, bone-in catfish (heads removed) are dredged in a specially seasoned cornmeal breading and then deep-fried to golden brown. The plate comes with coleslaw and a choice of two homemade sides. Macaroni and cheese and turnip greens are customer favorites, said co-owner Rodney Billups. "You get a lot for your money, and whole catfish isn't something that's found on many menus in the city."
