Thousands gathered as ABC's hit reality show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition revealed a new home to the Sharrock family Saturday.

As the long black limousine pulled onto Monanaw Avenue on Saturday afternoon, 2,000 spectators and volunteers erupted in cheers.

The house has been built, the bus has been moved and this morning was finally time for the Sharrock family to reflect on their new home.

Before the Sharrock family was chosen for the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" build last week, they faced an uncertain financial future and had begun cutting services, such as their home phone line and Internet.

Michael Sharrock hasn't had much time for sports the past decade. How could he? He and Cindy have been drowning in stress, fatigue, fear, anger, frustration and medical bills — always medical bills — since their 9-year-old son Patrick was first diagnosed with brittle bone disease as an infant.
