SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Police say a homeowner shot and killed man on his roof in a case being investigated as an attempted break-in northeast of Atlanta.
Gwinnett County police Cpl. Deon Washington said the man was shot in the face, and found dead on the roof of the home before dawn Friday in Snellville.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the dead man's body was still on the roof as police investigated shortly after 6 a.m.
Few other details were immediately available early Friday.
Snellville is about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta.
