Why We Love It

You don't have to be a vegetarian to go meatless once in a while. Notable household names from famous Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis to FOX's hit series "House" star Olivia Wilde to Japanese artist, author and peace activist Yoko Ono have given up meat at least one night a week in honor of the Meatless Monday movement. According to meatlessmonday.com, going meatless once a week may reduce the risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. It can also help reduce your carbon footprint and save precious resources like fresh water and fossil fuel. So, what's not to love? Take a bite out of these delicious black bean burgers and save more than a few calories.
