Unicoi State Park and Lodge covers 1,050 acres and offers outdoor aficionados five hiking trails, a lake, access to Anna Ruby Falls plus a 7-mile loop bike trail. Visitors come for the beauty, amenities and proximity to the Alpine village of Helen. Guests choosing to stay overnight have the options of a 100-room lodge, 82 campsites, 30 cottages and one squirrel's nest complete with 16 platforms for sleeping.

What to Expect

Unicoi State Park is one of the most popular parks in Georgia. During the year, various festivals, concerts and hikes take place for guests to enjoy. Visit during the summer to rent canoes and have access to the swimming beach by Unicoi Lake. After a long day of activity, stroll over to the park's restaurant where a mountain trout buffet is offered every night.

Depending on preference and amenities, rates for Unicoi range from $15-$53 a night for camping areas and $80-$150 a night for cottages and cabins. Reservations can be taken for campgrounds, cottages, cabins, picnic areas and the beach house, which overlooks the lake and can seat up to 75 people.
