Adidas line of shades now available at Complete Eye Care

The Optical Shop at Complete Eye Care has yet another great brand under its belt as the new line of Adidas prescription sunglasses hits the shelves.

"These sunglasses are built for performance, and we can make them with any prescription," assured Rachel Ridge, with Complete Eye Care. "Customers using them have noticed they perform better in their sports and have reduced eye fatigue thanks to the protection from glare and bright sunlight."

The Adidas sunglasses offer three different features or styles comprised of direct glazing, which offers the largest field of vision from every angle; the adapter, which gives a wide range of vision and prescription options; and the clip-in, which is a very versatile allowing customers to quickly change lenses.

"Some people worry that we won't be able to make their prescription in this wrap-style sunglasses, but we can," Ridge explained. "The Adidas are made by Silhouette, which is known for being very lightweight and very flexible when it comes to prescriptions."

For those unfamiliar with the color options in these and other brand sunglasses Complete Eye Care carries, the different shades of polarized lenses help with various levels of light and activities.

"For example, blue mirrored lenses help with water sports while gray mirrored lenses are a good everyday choice," Ridge explained.

With the holiday season just around the corner, clients should note that now is also a good time to make sure they take advantage of their vision benefits and any unspent health savings account funds before year's end.

"You don't want to wait until the last minute," added Candace Davis, Licensed Dispensing Optician. "Your vision is important and not something you want to put off.

"Your eyes can really suffer even from just a slight change in prescription if it goes overlooked."

The importance of good eye health is not to be ignored. Just ask Dr. Jack Vontillius, Doctor of Optometry at Complete Eye Care in Soddy-Daisy.

"Getting a yearly eye exam, whether you've experienced any changes or problems or not, is critical to the health of the eyes," Vontillius explained. "You always want to go the preventive route rather than waiting until you notice problems."
